Scholarship Objectives

It is stipulated in Article (1) Rules of University Scholarship and Training pertaining the scholarship objectives that: "Scholarship and training shall aim at qualifying the university cadres academically in order to obtain certain academic degrees or develop their academic, administrative and technical skills through training according to the given university's interest."
Building academically well-qualified cadres has been then one of the most important objectives of the University since established as a national university in 1387 AH or when it was transferred to be a public educational foundation named thereafter as "King AbdulAziz University" in 1391. This objective helps unquestionably as a basic factor build up the University and ensure the substantiality of university education.
The University has since then insisted on attracting and insisting the excellent national graduates to complete up their higher education abroad in order to obtain master or doctorate degrees in all various academic majors and then be recruited as faculty members. They are accordingly requested to contribute at teaching and training our children and to enrich the national attempts of research and develop the University. Undoubtedly, the capacity of a university is measured according to the magnitude of its researches, studies and services in all various fields of life.
